Salsprin Injection
Category: Anti-pyretic, anti-thrombotic, non-steroidal anti-infl ammatory drug (NSAID) for horses and camels.
Product Description: Salspirin is a sodium salicylate injection for controlling fever, pain, and inappropriate thrombosis. Indication: Used for musculoskeletal conditions such as arthritis, osteoarthritis, tendon and ligament sprains, and exertional myopathy.
Administration and Dosage:
• Horses: 35–45 mg/kg IV every 8–12 hrs (anti-infl ammatory) or 5 mg/kg daily / 20 mg/kg every 5 days (anti-thrombotic).
• Camels: 25 mg/kg IV every 24 hrs.
