Category: Broad-Spectrum Antibiotic for Horses and Camels
Product Description: A Gentamicin-based antibiotic indicated for bacterial infections known to be responsive to Gentamicin. Effective in treating gram-negative organisms and suitable for systemic and local administration.
Indication: For treatment of bacterial infections, including uterine infections in mares.
Administration and Dosage:
• Horses: 6.6 mg/kg IV once daily (≈33 mL per 500 kg)
Mares: 2.5 g intra-uterine infusion in 400 mL saline, once daily for 3–5 days
• Camels: 5 mg/kg SC or IV once daily for 5 days only; dose accurately by weight
